Addicted to CAS – Leaves

How are you all?

I’m designing for Addicted to CAS blog Challenge today and I’ve so enjoyed this challenge. I hope you consider playing along this week by making your own card with a ‘leaf’ theme.

I wanted to play with my Holiday Catalogue Leaf Punch and just for something different I’ve pulled out some Vellum Cardstock and punched out a bunch.

Leaves Punch from Stampin' Up! - card made by Carolyn Bennie AUSTRALIAN Stampin' Up! Demonstrator For ADTCAS Blog Challenge

Using tiny amounts of Fine Tip Glue, I’ve very carefully placed small amounts behind the joins in the punched leave shapes. Then to hide any glue, I’ve popped a small Enamel Dot in Cherry Cobbler – perfect little holly accents.

The Vellum looks wonderful against the Basic Black Cardstock. I’ve used my Bone Folder to gently lift the corners up on the top layer of Black Cardstock to add just a little more interest.

Remember we have just 2 more days of these months Stampin’ Up! Special. Time to stock up on Designer Series pattern papers. Buy 3 and receive a 4th for free. See the papers included in the sale below.

  1. Beautiful CAS card, Carolyn! I love the airy feel of vellum leaves and how they pop against the black background! Such a pretty card!
