Birds… I just love to stamp birds!

I’m a sucker for a bird stamp, so when I found out the code word for the Addicted to CAS blog challenge was BIRD, I was a very happy camper.

I’ve used both Copper Embossing Powder and Silver Embossing powder to stamp and heat emboss the bird and branch from the Petal Palette stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue.

I’ve used my Stampin’ Up! Classic Ink Pads and taken my Aquapainter to created a pastel rainbow watercolour wash across Shimmery White Card.

The ‘Stitched Shaped Framelits’ in Powder Pink cardstock make a really cute half circle sentiment tag. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark and then heat embossed in Cobber Embossing  Powder.

  1. This is gorgeous, Carolyn. I love that bird on branch image, and the copper embossing makes it even more beautiful, The colors you chose for the color wash are wonderful. I also love the off the edge die cut for your sentiment. Just a beautiful design.
