Bumble Bee’s are huge in our house. For some reason my 9 year old Mac and his bestie Heather decided to make EVERYTHING about bumble bee’s last year. It was actually super adorable. They had the whole class singing a made up bumble bee song at all the class events. They are a crazy two-some.
Of course they’ve totally moved on to pigs this year. Come on, bumble bee’s were so last year right?! Lol. But to me every time I see a bumble bee I think of that crazy song and those two cute and mad kids and my heart if filled with happiness.
I’m playing along with the Global Design Project this week. The challenge is ‘Winged Creatures’ and I knew exactly the Stampin’ Up! stamp set that I wanted to use.. Dragonfly Dreams.
It’s a super fun set and the super star of the set is of course the dragonfly BUT I’m totally in love with the bumble bee and I would have bought this bundle just for that fluffy bee alone.
I’ve been buzzing with excitement over this fun technique I’ve used to make the honeycomb. I’ll be sharing exactly how I’ve done it over on my FACEBOOK page tomorrow morning 24th of February at 10am on Facebook LIVE. If you can’t make it live you’ll be able to see it on replay – just make sure you ‘follow’ my Facebook Page so you’re notified.
