Carolyn Bennie – Australian Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.
Do something creative every day…. perfect rules to live by I think.
Being creative for me has really changed my life. It’s like my meditation or my time out. I’m sure my heart rate lowers and a real sense of calm (usually) comes over me. Especially when I colour. Is that how you feel about crafting? I hope so.
I’ve created this card using Basic Grey Archival Ink and colouring with the Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Pencils direct on Soft Sky coloured cardstock. I love to use the white pencil especially on coloured cardstock as it’s gives such a toned down look. Also by using the Basic Grey Archival Ink the images look like they’ve been pencil drawn. Cool right?
If you’ve ever thought of selling the cards you make this set will be of real interest to you. Why? Well, have you ever heard of the Angel Policy?
Angel Policy – An Angel Policy is a form of limited license that specifies how a rubber stamped image can be used and any specific requirements of the manufacturer or artist. Typically, this outlines under what circumstances, if any, a stamper can make and sell items created using a manufacturer’s rubber stamps.
Stampin’ Up! produce an Angel Policy Stamp Set in each catalogue that includes at least one stamp with the copy write ‘© Stampin’ Up!’ stamp. Just pop this on the back of the cards you’d like to sell them. (you don’t have to use it on cards you are gifting). This protects you and makes sure you give credit to the artist who designed the images.
Truthfully, I just love these crafty images and I just bought it for those. I can see me using this stamp to death. It’s so perfect for all my crafting friends.
Here are the tools I’ve used to create this card. You can purchase them from my online shop.
