Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Carolyn Bennie
I’d have to say, one of my hands down favourite things in the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue is the Floral Affection Embossing Folders. They come in a pack of 2 and I love both but my absolute favourite is this little floral wreath design which I’m just so in love with. Seriously – IN LOVE WITH!! It’s just my cup of tea. Is it wrong to have favourites?
- I’ve stamped in black Staz-on Ink the adorable bee from the Pun Intended Hostess stamp set onto vellum and then coloured it in with my Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker. I then fussy cut the bee out.
What’s a Hostess stamp set? When a Stampin’ Up! order gets to a product value of $250 or more (either in a party or an individual order) the order earns Hostess Rewards…which is basically free $ to spend. You can spend it on anything you like but there are these exclusive Host stamp sets that are only available to order with Hostess Reward $. The great thing about them is they are priced cheeper then normal stamp sets so you get more bang for your buck. 😉 This years Hostess sets are especially nice – so well worth considering if you earn Hostess dollars.
- I’ve used one of the new Incolors – Sweet Sugarplum and rolled it through my Bigshot Die Cutting machine with the Floral Affection embossing folder. *sigh*… so pretty.
- I did stamp a bee in the middle of the two flower ‘arks’ and then adhered the vellum bee on the top. I couldn’t help myself – I got out my Sponge Dauber and added a little VersaMark watermark ink to the corners to give a shadow effect.
The crazy beautiful Designer Series paper I’ve used is called Affectionately Yours and this is a piece of one of the sheets that has copper foil highlights. Do you love it as much as I do?
The colours in this card are totally delicious and work really well together.
There is a great Stampin’ Up! Host Special on this month – Place an order of $450 and not only receive the normal fab Stampin’ Rewards but get an additional $50 of rewards on top! See the details below.
