I’ve loved the colouring in craze. It’s magic to see other people getting switched on to colouring like I am.

Of course with all that colouring in the adult style colouring in books.. well, what do you do with it after you’ve finished colouring? Not much I’m guessing.

Stampin’ Up! have totally solved that problem for us colourers – thick Designer Series Paper perfect for colouring with either pencils or watercolours. The Just Add Color Speciality Designer Series Paper is perfect to colour on to – even with watercolours and then cut out and adhere to your card bases. Not thin and flimsy at all.

Cool right? Turn all your beautiful drawings into 100’s of handmade cards each different and unique.   There are 12 sheets with 2 each of single sided designs stunning designs. I can’t decide which is my favourite actually.

Now I’ve gone over the top with my colouring on my tea pots…. you know me I can’t help myself. But don’t be discouraged if you’re not going to labor for hours on yours. I’m just nuts about colouring.

You know what? You could even just stamp and bright bold sentiment over the images and use that as your card front. Some times less is more.

For my cards I’ve used a few of my Watercolor Pencils and coloured them direct to the paper. No blending other then using a grey pencil to add depth of shadow. Just start out light and layer up your colours.

Here are the tools and supplies I’ve used to make my card. As you can see it’s really a very small bunch of goodies – a great way to start stamping.

Here’s another great way to start stamping. The new Stampin’ Up! I think cutting out the tea pots and cups with my snips and adhering it on to black cardstock really helped make this card pop. Perfect for a Birthday girl with lots of style. Just add color specialty DSP - Stampin' Up! - Carolyn Bennie, Australian Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
