Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Australia – Carolyn Bennie.
A long, long time ago I joined Stampin’ Up! to grab some basics craft supplies at a discount. I was just going to get a few things I needed and not continue for any great length of time. Turns out I needed EVERYTHING… also turns out that was over 7 years ago and I still need EVERYTHING! Teehee
I was a very Happy Hobby Stamper.. and along the way I’ve been able to turn my love for stamping into a full time occupation while being also a stay at home mum to my 3 sons. I have both Hobby Stampers and Business Stampers in my team of ladies who have joined Stampin’ Up! with me to guide them. It’s totally up to us as individuals to choose what type of Demonstrator you want to be.
Did you know that joining Stampin’ Up! in July is maybe the best time of the year to join? That’s for a couple of reasons.
- Firstly, you’ll have until 31s of December to fulfil your first batch of quarterly minimums (a partial quarter of July/August/September and then the full quarter of October/November/December). Stampin’ Up! Quarterly minimum sales are $440 retail and that can be either made up of retails sales to customers or your personal sales (and receive a 20% discount and never pay full retail) or you can do a combination of the two. Its’ totally up to you.
- Secondly, as demonstrators we’ll be first to see the new Holiday Stampin’ Up! Catalogue at the end of July and start to pre-order our Christmas stamps and get started on those fun projects really soon. We’ve got lots of training, demonstrations and help in our Demonstrator Support Website to introduce us to the Holiday Catalogue and get us crafting Christmas fast.
I was lucky enough to welcome another beautiful Happy Hobby Stamper into my team the Midnight Inklings recently. I wanted to make a special card for her and as it turns out I’m on the Design Team for Addicted to CAS and our code word this week is WELCOME! ….Perfect!
Our Guest Design Team member this week at Addicted to CAS is Elaine. She’s created a bright and clean ‘Welcome’ card over on her blog. Go check out her beautiful work.
