One thing you can guarantee, if there is a bird stamp set in a new catalogue, I’ll be buying it. There’s something about bird stamps that make me so happy. The Petal Palette bundle is a fine bird stamp set and an awesome bunch of framelits.

In today’s Friday Facebook Live tutorial, I demonstrate how to use negative space colouring with the Stampin’ Up! Blends to make these really sweet cards.

The great thing about colouring in the negative spaces is that you don’t need to be an amazing artist as the Blends do all the heavy lifting for you. They’re just so easy to use. Stampin' Up! 1. i also forgot to mention, this is how i actually clean up embossing mistakes.
if i happen to get specks embossed where they aren’t supposed to be. i take a qtip and swirl it into a point, take a little alcohol and dab it on the embossed dots, it liquidates it, then i take a clean qtip and swirl and turn it as i lift the embossing off the paper. (turning only in one direction and only until you meet a part of the qtip that has stuff on it. stop there and repeat if needed w a clean qtip. the paper will dry like nothing was ever there!

  2. the reason the embossing was smudged was that the alcohol in the pens rubbed it out. or loosened it enough to smudge. alcohol will do that to most any product. even if it is coming out of a colored pen. 🙂
lovely idea though! i’ll have to try it!
