Pun intended – You light up my life

My 12 year old son has discovered ‘puns’. It’s gotten SO bad with SO many puns, we as a family have had to put some rules in place as to how many puns he can say each day. He’s truly sending us nutty.

I can hear him now inserting all sorts of ‘punny’ remarks into this post…. *sigh*.  Everything is funny for a 12 year old right?!

The card I’ve made to share today is using the Hostess Reward set called ‘No Pun Intended’.

Stampin’ Up! offers Hostess Rewards for orders of $250 . Of course you can select any current catalogue items with the Hostess $ Rewards you earn BUT you can also select exclusive Hostess Sets.  No Pun Intended is one of those Hostess Reward sets and it was one of my 2 favourites this year. (I’ll be sharing the other a little later this month).

I’ve used the beautiful 2016/17 Incolors Sweet Sugar Plum and Peekaboo Peach for some sponging and masking in this card.

Card Making Tip: Cut a die-cut circle with your Big Shot and Layering Circle Dies into a large post-it note. Adhere to the top of the area you want to sponge – the perfect circle mask for your project.  Now start your sponging.

Now if you love these colours – don’t worry, we have these 2016/18 Incolors for another whole year yet. So plenty of time to stock up and enjoy.

  • Did you see my blog post from the 4th of April? I did a bit of a run through of the 2015/17 Incolors which are shortly going to retire. Make sure you check that out HERE. You don’t want to miss that post.

All the current Hostess Rewards Stamp sets in the current Annual Catalogue have only a month and a half left before they retire. So if you place an order of $250 or more in the next few weeks,  be sure to grab one of these sets. They’re priced lower then our normal sets as a special treat for our wonderful Hostesses.

See all of them below.

Now remember you just can’t go and buy these sets.. they are a reward for a $250 or more spend. So you can either:

  1. Place a group order.  Gather a few friends orders and place them as a party order. You can be the Hostess for organising it.  Or
  2. You can place the order all on your own.

You’ll then be promoted to select Hostess Rewards if you’re ordering online once you pass the $250 order mark. OR just email me HERE with your order and let me know what Host Rewards you might like.

Isn’t that sponging so lovely and warm? The feeling of love.
