Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator – Carolyn Bennie
By the time you’re reading this post #Onstage Local (Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator event) in Sydney will be all over. *sniff*
I’ve been madly planning, rehearsing and creating for this event and to say I’m a tad excited would be an understatement! I can’t wait to see all my Stampin’ Up! friends – not to mention all the new product AND the new yet to be released 2016/17 Annual Catalogue!! Whoohooo!
I have 2 presentations to give on stage as part of my role on the Global Events Demonstrator Council.
Finding an audience to practice my presentations in front of when you work from home can be a challenge. But Fudge the dog is always ready to lend a helping paw…. she can be a tough critic however. lol.
I’ll have so many wonderful projects to show you from the up and coming Stampin’ Up! Annual 2016/17 Catalogue really soon … but they’re still top secret – at least for just a little bit longer. 😉
Today I’m back sharing with you a card for the Addicted to CAS design team Blog Challenge. The code word is:
I’ve used the wonderful stamp set Sprinkles of Life for this card – perfect for rain, or cupcakes, flower pots…. so many uses. The best thing about this stamp is that Stampin’ Up!’s charity of choice Ronald McDonald House received $3 from each sale of this stamp.
I’ve used silver heat embossing powder for the cloud and punched it out with the co-ordinating punch – Tree Builder Punch. Then I’ve taken that same punch and punched out a little rain drop out of all of the different blue colours in the Stampin’ Up! range. Loved how that ended up.
I’ve also put the photopolymer clear stamp sentiment on the acrylic block in a curved shape. I thought this matched my round card so much better. It’s so much fun that you can do that with photopolymer stamps as they’re really flexible.
