I’m happy to report I’m back on the Addicted to CAS Design team this year and we’re off and running on a fun batch of CODE words, starting with the delightful ‘Wish’.
See all the other Design Team’s inspiration on the CODE word and what other cardmaking lovers have been creating by heading to the Addicted to CAS blog challenge blog HERE.
We have a Guest Design Team member today. Another Aussie Michelle Lupton! See her beautiful blog http://handmade-by-michelle.blogspot.com.au/ and give her some comment luv’n.
I was a but chuffed that I had a die that actually said the word wish. It’s a lovely script of the word and comes from the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits. I did a simple and colourful watercolour wash on our Shimmery White cardstock with some fab Stampin’ Up! inks, let dry and cut out ‘wish’ with the die. I’ve then simply layered the card front on top of some Night of Navy cardstock. How simple is that??!
The trickiest part is just not going crazy with the adhesive on the back. You don’t want glue to ooze through the word die cuts.
